Bookings ‣ Hotels / Accommodations ‣ Add customer
To record a new hotel booking, move to the bottom of the bookings list.
Click the Book New Hotel button. The application will automatically send you in the Hotel details.
Search in the list for an existing customer or click Add New Customer to create a new one. Refer to Settings ► Third parties ► Customers to create a customer.
Select your customer and the entire booking form will appear:
Details come from the customer record and can be updated here.
Select the hotel from the list, then the room type and the check-in and check-out dates. Refer to Settings ► Places ► Hotels, Resorts... to create a new hotel.
If needed change the number of pax and the number of rooms to book.
If your customer needs a transfer to the hotel, use this form to enter the detail. Refer to Settings ► Places ► Hotels, Resorts... to create a transfer point.
When you select the pickup point the application will show more details to complete. See the example below:
If the hotel is able to manage the transfer and you want the hotel to do it, tick the Request the transfer to be done by box. The transfer request will appear in the booking you will send to the hotel.
If your customer needs a transfer from the hotel, use this form to enter the detail. Refer to Settings ► Places ► Hotels, Resorts... to create a transfer point.
When you select the offload point the application will show more details to complete. See the example below:
If the hotel is able to manage the transfer and you want the hotel to do it, tick the Request the transfer to be done by box. The transfer request will appear in the booking you will send to the hotel.
Details come from the customer record or for the last booking recorded for this customer.
Custom information are custom fields that you can setup by yourselves.
Refer to Settings ► Custom fields to setup the custom fields you might need.
Prices are automatically calculated by the system and you cannot change them. You only can update the discount percentages.
Click the Save button and the hotels bookings list will be updated with your booking.
You can click the Edit icon to update details or the Trash icon to delete this booking.
